The USS Yellowstone AD-27 site is for the pleasure and sharing of moments in time that are cherished by those who served upon Her and their Families. The "Queen of the Tenders" was the 2nd Ship by that name and proudly served the Fleet as a Destroyer Tender from 1946 until 1974. The main duties were on the Atlantic Seaboard and with the 6th Fleet in the Mediterranean Sea, making 12 Med Cruises.
This site hopes to be able to serve those interested in Reunion Information, swapping sea stories, Home and Ports of Call, finding lost friends, sharing pictures and information about the USS Yellowstone thru the years of active duty served aboard Her.
